Editorials And Opinions

My name is Judi Clarke-Copeland, but I also go by Mytigodess. My pen name is Callen Damornen, you may have seen my book Kingdom of Kerstan which is available in a bookstore near you by request or online 24/7. Or you may have heard of me from the many forums, message boards, and newsgroups in which I participate. Or maybe you did a search and wind up here anyway. No matter how you got here, I am glad to have your acquaintance.

I am a stay at home mother, first and foremost. So if I tend to go AWOL from my sites a bit, they are my excuse. I have been married to Jeffrey Copeland since 1 June 1991. I have two children, Catherine and Phillip, born in 1995 and 1997. I was born in Chicago in 1966 sometime in November. Yes, I am a Scorpio with all the fabled characteristics that go with it [ha, ha, ha].

My father was born in Jamaica and my mother was born in Chicago, but raised in Jamaica. They came to Chicago shortly before I was born. Racially, I am mixed (Native American of the Choctaw tribe, African-American slavery ancestry, Indian, Jamaican, Scottish, and German, however my birth certificate of 1966 states both of my parents as "negro" thus the government considers me as such by that standard).

I went to high school for 3 years in Chicago at Morgan Park H.S. and in my last year moved to Colorado and graduated from Smoky Hill H.S. in 1984 when I was 17. I then went to the University of Southern Colorado for a semester and dropped out. I went back to school to learn occupational therapy and dropped out again because it was not something I could focus on at the time, literally, could not see things microscopic making it impossible to pass the science requirements.

Currently, I live in Nashville Tennessee USA, but would love to move to England where I can tolerate the weather with fewer allergies that affect me.

Try not to be too disturbed by anything I have to say. I am only a merely a small cog in the big wheel of the universe. I'm just not afraid to say what's on my mind. You may like it or you may hate it, quite frankly, I don't care. I respect your opinion and hope you respect mine, but I don't react because someone thinks I should be different. I y'am what I y'am.

My former blog, The Right Left, was infamous with my slogan, "So far left she's right, or is it the other way around." I haven't changed much. I am generally politically in the middle of the road, but depending on the issue I could go either way. That blog is being phased out for a new concept for me - the interactive soap opera:-)

The opinions expressed here are my own and in no way reflects the sponsors.

We Bring You This Special Message

Honestly, not all Americans are as stupid as some people like to think (clip one). John Stossel asks the question why Americans appear to be stupid (clip two), even if we cannot say the same thing about our president (clip three).
