Ciecily Johnson

The oldest child of Henry and Brenda Johnson. Her parents nurtured her gifted voice and hoped she would continue to sing in church, but as a teenager had a mind of her own and decided she wanted to pursue a career in opera. Her parents hoped if they put her through university perhaps she would reconsider her options. Instead, she dropped out and rented an apartment at Franco Towers so she could have a place to practice in peace. Her family disowned her and she sunk further into her career hoping only success would get them to love her again. She kept her place in town with hopes that each time she returned her family would change their mind about her career choice.

In the early 80s, she became quite the talk around the world as one of the greatest voices in opera. She had lots of money and fans around the world as well as men who wanted to give her the world. All of that did not matter because each time she came back home, her family treated her like trash.

This lead to her depression, drugs, and a failing career after a scandal of prostitution to support her cocaine habit. No one wanted her to perform, so she had no other choice but to come back home and see if her family would have her. Unfortunately, by the time she decided to come home, her parents were already dead. She missed both funerals and her sister never forgave her for that. She had some ray of hope because in a letter her father left behind for her he told her that although he was disappointed in her choices in life he was proud of her and loved her. In his will, he bought a home for her in case she did decide to settle down. He also begged her to make amends with her sister, a task that she never seems to be able to complete.

Having no viable career in opera and a home she received after her father's death, she decided to settle down. Needing work, she found a regular gig at the town's club on Michigan Street, even if keeping it meant she had to put up with constant sexual harassment from the customers, drug temptations, and to sleep with Parker and endure regular fights with his wife, Brenda. She put up with such abuse because she felt it was what she deserved for letting down her family, but vowed one day she would make it up to her sister.
