Oldest son of Brian and Glenda Brecklin, owners of the majority of the Brecklin businesses and land in Kensington Falls. He was put above all of his brothers as he was the honour student with plans to study medicine. Everything looked bright in his world until he met and fell in love with a stranger from out of town, Colette Gannette. He did not know at first she was a member of the rival family and fell in love with her as she did with him. It wasn't until the both of them decided to announce their relationship to their families at a restaurant did they really discover they were dating the enemy. Both of them refused to call off the relationship and were both disowned when they got married. They thought their love was so strong it could conquer any problem.
As he was getting really busy with his internship, Colette tried her best to be a good housewife, but when she was pregnant became very sick and unable to perform her duties to help her husband. She was ordered on bed rest for the last 4 months of her pregnancy and often sent Keith packing to a town motel so she would not be disturbed by him when he was coming in late. It was during this time he started an affair with her best friend who stopped by to see if he needed anything. She meant to only be a friend, but old habits being hard to break, came on to him and she ended up carrying his child. She confessed to Colette who was still on bed rest and from that day forward Colette became a very bitter woman.
As Keith tried to save his marriage and refused to have anything to do with Amanda, he hoped Colette would forgive him. Instead, she made it her purpose in life to make his life a living hell.
Keith works as a heart specialist and teaches at the university hospital.
